Shawn Decker of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago commissioned me to design a small inexpensive kit that could be built by students for ~$100. The MIDI Anything Board was a generic MIDI interface that could be connected to any kind of musical instrument, kinetic sculpture, sensor or motor for integrating and synchronizing music and motion.
